We have been lucky to have Uncle Jon and Aunt Ashley here for almost a whole week. Jon came in last Saturday and Ashley a few days later. The kids have had a lot of fun playing and visiting with them. We have been all over the place and the days have flown by. Here is what we've been up to with the Provo Kewishes:
At the San Antonio Zoo with the Black RhinoTori chillaxin' in the stroller
The boys riding the lions
Jon and the boys at the Alamo
The boys on the cannon at the Alamo
Relaxing by the Riverwalk
After lunch at one of the best barbecue places around
Sitting on the cypress knees along the Guadalupe in the Hill Country
Let's just say the boys missed their naps, but found time to make up for it
The gang in front of our favorite oak tree at Landa Park in New Braunfels
I am not sure what is going on with Joey here, and I'm not sure I want to know
We were surprised to see a nutria at the park in New Braunfels
At Sea World, Charles trying hard to enjoy the lorikeets on his arm
Joey was not as stressed, probably because the bird was dug into Liz's arm and not his
But he definitely wanted to feed them
Anywhere he could reach them
Joey simultaneously feeding and petting one of the juvenile dolphins
Jon feeding the dolphin--you'll just have to trust that it's him
The boys could stay all day at the dolphin tank
Yes, it's been lots of fun with them here and we'll miss them for sure. Hopefully we will live close by sometime in the future.

What fun, what fun, what fun! Can't wait to see you all again! Mom/Gr.K
I'm jealous. I want to come visit you guys too. Looks like you all had fun. That dolphin tank looks so cool. Sammie would love that too.
Nat--we would LOVE for you guys to come visit! There is so much to do here and it's a fun city. Plus, we need to get the twins (Tori and Lexie) together. Maybe we could even persuade the Lesues to put their hatred of TX aside for a visit and get all three girls together (and of course, all the adults). You and Holly could even play with Liz's new super-fancy sewing machine that she just got. It's only a 1,500 mile drive.
Hatred? I've never hated Texas, only those with serious Texas pride. And then I wouldn't necessarily use the word "hatred" either. Strong aversion would be more like it.
And since Dave never comments (or reads blogs—including ours—most of the time) I'll answer for him too. He doesn't hate Texas, but in fact, lived there when he was younger (in Katy) and he often speaks of Blue Bell ice cream.
I'm totally up for a trip to visit anyone and everyone since we all live too far for my liking. Plus I would love the cousins to see each other more, and meet the new ones. And everyone lives near cool sites that I would like to visit, i.e., "there's no basement in the Alamo!" And all those things would just be side benefits for me since the real reason I want to visit my family is to hang out with everyone myself. I have purely selfish motives.
So, yes. I would come to Texas.
WOW! You guys cover alot of ground when visitors come!
Looks like fun!
Oh No please don't move closer to the west:( Wow that was a crazy week!
don't you just love family visits! so nice to be able to pack a bunch of fun things into a short time....and who doesn't LOVE Rudy's!
The Visitors? That makes us sound like some aliens or something. :) JK. Yes that trip rocked our world. A new found appreciation for Texas to say the least. Thanks again for packing everything in and sacrificing your time, energy, and many other resources to have us. I'm still wishing I was back even in the hot sticky weather rather than taking finals. I really felt like a little kid at Sea World. That was so fun feeding the dolphins and seeing all of he shows. The kiddies were so fun and cute to get to know better and hang out with. Hopefully Charles' head is feeling better :( Thanks Liz too for hosting Ash and I and fitting everything in. Hopefully it won't be too long until we hang out again with you guys.
