When Liz and I got home from the Temple tonight we asked the babysitter, "did you have any problems with the boys?" She said, "no, they were really good." We asked, "really, Joey didn't get out of bed?" (he always gets out of bed when there is a babysitter). She said, "well, only once."
Then we went upstairs and this is what we found. Yep, looks like he got out of bed once--to go into Charles room and stay there. At least it looks like they had a good time reading books.

Well, you certainly can't object to that kind of 'getting up.' I love how they are SO BROTHERS! I think your 'Brothers Forever' before bedtime will stick with them always.
..or should I say, 'Forever.' :)
Love, Grandma K
That's funny. They must dream about being overwhelmed or something. Dude, I went fishing today and let me just tell you...the fish were a little bit bigger than the perch we were catching at the park
Yes mom, they are brothers for sure. You can see it in most of the pictures where they randomly grab hands or hug for the picture.
Quick update: Charles saw this post this morning and was staring at it when I said, "is that a picture of my two boys in your bed asleep?" He smiled and I said, "did you guys read books last night and fall asleep." Then he said, "Joey fell asleep, but I didn't fall asleep." I said, "well, you're asleep in the picture, right?" He was confused for a minute and said, "oh yeah."
Looks like that eventually fell asleep despite the fun. Makes you wonder if your babysitter checked in on them!:) A Temple night sounds great, we need one of those.
Fun, slumber party's in the summer are great! I think that Charles most likely felt responsible for Joey and that is why he did not think he fell asleep:)
What a great moment to catch!
That is so sweet! Doesn't it just make you happy when they love each other like that. (It makes up for the times when they aren't so cozy.) Love Charles' bedding, too.
