Friday night we had a bunch of people over to our house for the Elder's Quorum social. Chris Venegas brought his gigantic telescope and we trained it on Saturn for a while. The view was amazing with us being able to see Saturn so closely that we could see the Cassini Division in the rings and several of its 60 moons. The view was perfect from our backyard and everyone seemed to enjoy the show. It was so large and clear in the viewfinder that I was able to hold my digital camera up to the eyepiece and snap this picture.

Wow, that must have been so amazing! The picture is amazing!
Cool. Reminds me of James' telescope he got along with his planetarium we would look at in his room. How crazy that the digital picture turned out so good by just holding it up to the eyepiece. Who would've known. Ash and I are getting giddy about being there in a week!
Wow! When I enlarge the picture that is truly amazing to see the rings, etc. Mom
Incredible - I've never seen such a great shot with a normal camera!
