A new milestone at Chez Kewish--our first kid loses his first tooth. He was increasingly nervous about it over the past few days, but was pretty brave and trusted his dad. Finally tonight when I was helping him floss, I just reached in a popped it out. It was so funny to see his brain processing everything: "wait, what was that? was that what I thought it was? wait, DAD IS HOLDING MY TOOTH IN HIS HAND! OH NO!!! Wait....it doesn't hurt. So that means Dad was right all along. Hey, now I have nothing to worry about. Wow, a huge weight was just lifted from my shoulders..."
Then the goofy smile comes across his face. I love that smile.

Cute!
I like it! I also really like those Conference Crepes. Are those the same ones Liz made in Philidelphia for all the wives? If so, I have the recipe. You have inspired me to make them!
He is not a little boy any more now he is a kid, first the teeth then the funny shape caused by uncontrolable growth spurts. O.K. I will stop. So glad that he is smiling and Joe was able to have a part in the whole first lost tooth experience.
Yes Mikala--same ones. I can't believe you guys aren't eating them more often in Belgium with your Frenchy husband...
So Cute!!!!!
That is so cool! Carson lost his first tooth on Monday! He was nervous about it hurting, but it just popped right out. HE was so excited he wouldn't put it in the tooth pillow he had to take it to school for show and tell!
I'm just glad he's sporting a Wharton shirt. :o)
