A sunny day

Today was sunny in more ways than one. First, we hit 72 degrees today after a week full of mid-40's, fog, and rain (which still wasn't too bad, compared to the rest of the country, but it kept us indoors). Second, we are all finally feeling better after a full week of a terrible flu (among some other strange sicknesses). So we took advantage by going out together this afternoon for a great lunch at Rome's Pizza and spent some time playing and hiking in McAllister Park. You might notice from the following pictures that the kids aren't all quite back to 100 percent, but we had a lot of fun anyway.

The boys found a few big rocks to stand on.

Charles is doing his imitation of a Rock Hyrax

Joseph standing on the trail--looking like he can't be trusted.

Even on a hike Tori walks around with her head down. This was one of the few times she looked up.
Tori is not only dealing with the lingering effects of her cold/flu, but she is NOT happy about the bee that keeps trying to land on her.

Wow! Why hasn't anyone posted a comment yet on this great post? Come on guys! :) First, cry me a river Joe, the past weeks its been 0 or below 0 here as you pointed out about the rest of the country having real winters. Second, the kids look so cute and Tori is looking so much older. Especially with her chocolate chip "do." Third, I'm going to stop numbering my comments its kind of getting old. Sorry to hear you were all sick. Ashley was really sick too. Thanks to her Dad that brought it when he came to visit. Anyway great to see another post

I forgot to say that I love how the boys are always sporting BYU gear! Go Cougs! Also, that park looks cool. The trees almost look like an enchanted forest

Oh I am so sorry you guys have had the winter blues and flu's. I am with you on the 40's being freezing! I can't wait for spring with her mighty Tunderstorms that bring warm weather:) Cute hairdo Tori!

Way to represent Tori! (Yet, still keep it fabulous with leggings)

What a fun outing. Cute pics. And, Tori, the cutie-patootie, looks like she can 'hold her own,' even with the bees. :)
