Back to reality

Some of you may have noticed that we haven't posted in a little while (and by "some of you" I mean Liz). This is mostly because we were out of town for a visit to Utah and Kewish family reunion. So, after a week of preparation, two weeks of being out of town, and a few days de-toxing from going to the Creamery every night, we are back in SA-town and back to reality.



We had such a great time on our trip and miss all the cousins and family so much. While we still have no desire to ever live there, Utah is such a great place to visit--especially Provo. We hiked the Y, marched in the kids parade, ran the 4th of July 5K, barbecued at Rock Canyon park, watched the Stadium of Fire fireworks, went bowling, had a scavenger hunt at BYU, played some golf, did lots of shopping, hit all the necessary Provo eating spots, went fishing at Strawberry, and just hung out with all the family. It flew by and we were actually sad to leave. We're already looking forward to the next time we can get together--especially with some of the family that couldn't make it this time around.



So as you might imagine, we have tons of updates, stories, and pictures, which we will post in the coming days. For now, we'll just post a few of the boys crashed in grandpa and grandma Kewishes' living room. For kids who are usually on a pretty smooth schedule here at home, they had to deal with rarely getting a nap in Utah. This usually resulted in spectacular 'crashes' later in the day. This was one of our last days there, around 4 or 5 pm, when they just couldn't stay awake another minute. The funny thing was that this was in the middle of the living room, which was full of cousins, and they both crashed within a few minutes of each other. At least Joey found something soft to lay on.
