The last weekend in July we had a Pioneer Day celebration along with an impromptu visit from Uncle Vaughn. Here are some pictures to document it all:
The boys participating in a sack race. Charles didn't quite grasp the "holding onto the sack" part of it.Charles giving the "thumbs up" riding a horse.
Joey with his shy/embarrassed smile (very rare) on a horse.
Tori looking good going barefoot on a horse. She was squealing and yelling "NEEEIIGGHHHHHH" to the horse the whole time.
Liz was going to make Joey pick between the sno-cone and cotton candy until I intervened and said he could have one of each. He didn't know what to do with himself and just stood there looking back and forth at each item before he devoured them.
Tori was ready for her close-up.
Uncle Vaughn and the boys at the Founder's Oak at Landa Park in New Braunfels.
On the 17th hole Vaughn was hopelessly buried in the trap. Notice how dark it was--we didn't get in hole 18...or I would have beat him! (okay, not really)

Wow looks like you had a fun filled weekend!
I would have beat you both. Hahahah even if you kept my score. That is pretty dark. Maybe I should get you some glow in the dark balls. Haha. Looks like the Pioneer Day celebration was fun. How cool to be outside of Utah and have a Pioneer Day celebration. I remember and have fond memories of the Anaheim Pioneer Day breakfasts and festivities
I miss you guys! Looks like a nice time, and so fun to be with family. I loved the picture of Tori in her stroller and the big pancake picture. I linked you on my blog (I finally got it up and running), hope that is okay.
