Endless Week

I never knew that a week could seem endless. Well, that is exactly how this week has felt since Joe started his new job in Indianapolis. It's just the little things I miss like sitting on the couch with him at the end of a long day and rubbing each others feet while we watch our favorite t.v. shows, or waking up in the morning and having someone taller then 5 ft. next to you. I wish I had him around to figure out why the smoke alarm on our vaulted ceiling is going off multiple times in the middle of the night for no apparent reason and to top it off tonight for the first time since living here we had a gecko running around in our house. Yes, you guessed it, I had to catch it all by myself and set it free. I miss Joe.

but wouldn't you rather it be a gecko than a cockroach or huge spider?

do you want me to come so we can rub each other's feet in the meantime (i am taller than five feet)? we can even throw all the kids together in a room and shut the door. think about it.

no, i'm sorry that you guys have to do this. at least you have your cruise to look forward to. and it won't be forever—hopefully it won't be too far into the new season of tv shows that you guys like to watch together.

Wow, Joe is lucky. Shawn wouldn't go anywhere near my feet even if I paid her. Not that I blame her.

I am sorry! We should get together for dinner one night while is out! We can take all of our loud kids somewhere kid friendly! I will not rub your feet though! :)

Liz...I feel your pain. Here's to one day being reunited with the hubbies. :) Hang in there!
