I always need a good laugh when Joe has been out of town for a few days and I am at the end of my rope. Well, tonight the boys did not disappoint.
Laugh #1
Charles and Joey have had some paint by number pages that they have been wanting to paint for sometime. So, tonight to pass the time I let them go at it. After they were done I heard Charles say, "Mine is better than yours Joey." I, getting defensive for Joey knowing how hard he tried, said, "Charles that's not a nice thing to say." Joey immediately says, "It's okay mom I know that Charles's picture looks better and that's okay because we are friends and brothers."
Laugh #2
Joey- Mom, at school we pray like this, God is great, God is good, let us thank him for our food. That's a short prayer isn't it?
Me- Yes it is, do you like short prayers?
Joey- Well, no because we have more to say thank you for and Daddy has a lot to say thank you for.

I love how Kids are so truthful! Joey Has captured the essences of true prayer. You can tell him that when he's a Dad he will have a lot to pray about too:)
Exact same prayer at Lauren's preschool. I love listening to Lauren's prayers. Eye opening, sweet, and sometimes funny (in a good way). Kids are great.
These are precious. "Kids say the darndest things." I like both turtles...they both have character. And, of course, many turtles don't, you know. At least at first glance. :)
The prayer comment is priceless.
(Love Grandma K)
PS...I can at least comment here from China today...but only as anonymous...same as on Holly's blog.
