Tori's Latest Trick

I love it when she does this. Liz doesn't love it too much, but again, is at least willing enough to hold the video camera. I think Tori loves it more than anyone, because the second she feels my hand starting to grab her little feet, she locks her legs and stretches her arms out wide. I guess if she doesn't end up becoming a diplomat, there's always the circus...

Liz...I sympathize! Dan used to do that with Carson and I would just cringe. I must say Tori really stands nice and tall!

Wait, how did this turn into a bash Joe post when it's supposed to be about my baby's mad balancing skills?

i think this is more of a joe trick...but tori does rock on her part of it. wow, she is sooo cute, i hope she doesn't have stranger fear this summer when i want to hold her all the time. but then, i can just immediately hand her back the second she starts to cry :). this is totally something vaughn would do, so as scary as it is--the kids are usually so happy to have dad to do these things with!

Yikes! But, she is good! And, well, it seems to me that dads are the adventurous ones. I still remember when Dad insisted on sending Carol Marie down the slide by herself. And, it went well and she loved it. But, my stomach was all in knots the whole time. If it had been for me, Carol and others would not have done nearly the fun things in life that they have done. Moms guard and protect and Dad's (even though they do protect) help with risk and adventure. Perhaps it is meant to be--so there is a balance. ??

Not meaning to bash you Joe...and yes your baby has extraordinary maybe even genius abilities - how could she not being my niece:) However, my mother protection insticts take over when I see this, probably because of my "experiences" with dad. Which I am sure gave me lots of fun times that I would not have had otherwise, but also three sets of stitches on my face alone.......

Yeah, don't worry--I didn't take any offense from the mothers. I think I've treated my kids the same, but currently we have two boys who are OPPOSITES when it comes to being adventurous. I hope Tori is somewhat adventurous in her life, as long as that doesn't include ever going on any dates.

Okay Darren, now you have me picturing you balancing Laurel in the palm of you hand. Pretty funny.

O.K. I must ask why is Joey crying? I bet he wanted a turn too. As for Darren balancing me, not a chance!
