Kentucky

Last weekend we went down to Louisville for a temple day. The trip is not too bad at approximately 2.5 hours, and it was helped by the fact that we went with our friends the Parkers and had Graeter's afterwards. Still, we couldn't help but comment on the difference between having a temple 2.5 hours away versus one that we could walk to in San Antonio.

Here is Tori sitting on a planter. The entire temple exterior is made of marble from Vermont--including where I sat her. When she got up she said, "Daddy, that chair is cold!"

Bonus Feature: I've been meaning to post this--one of our favorite healthy dinners that Liz makes. It's a mixture of green olives, prunes, capers, and I think some olive oil and vinegar on top of chicken and a bed of organic bulgar. It's ridiculous how good it is.
